Her aesthetic may be toned down a bit this era, but she still has the same energy, drive, I-don't-give-a-f*ck attitude, and morals that made me fall in love with her in the first place. Joanne did nothing but show us that the moment we think know Gaga, she throws us a 180 and it still manages to snatch us. I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas. Because charts don't define the music. Charts define what a group of general publics like, which is mostly hollow, meaningless, fake, ghostwritten music. But Joanne... it doesn't pander to charts at all. It panders to people who truly appreciate real music for what it is: art. The music was nice-ish, there are some song i really love, like Million Reasons, Sinner's Prayers, Joanne, Perfect Illusion and A-Yo, i don't care personally that much for the rest of the album, Diamond Heart is okay. That's what I really like about Gaga, she doesn't follow trends/change her style to "fit in".
