It doesn't work when you only list the Democrats' nice-sounding policies. You could do the same for the Republicans:

"Yeah, that awful job creation, support for the military, tax reductions, housing market reform, infrastructure programs, balanced budgets, the support for small businesses and cutting red tape ...such terrible policies! "

The job creation at the expense of ****ing the lower class over and taxing the middle class, the country already spends more on the military than any other country...they already had support, (oh, and Trump is screwing vets with his job freeze) balanced budgets? lol, Trump is going to add trillions to the debt, cutting red tape? by ****ing up the environment, earthquakes and putting drinking water in danger, yep...terrible policies!

This election def taught me about party loyalty, I'll vote for anyone who runs against Trump. I'm happy learned this lesson before I turned voting age.

Some of those things sound terrible even with sugar coating and I don't know why you're giving the GOP the credit for job creation.

There isn't going to be a politician or a party that you agree with a hundred per cent of the time, but the difference between Democrats and Republicans is light years away from one another at this time.

People need to be reminded that they repeated another Bush/Gore situation, only a thousands times worse. Maybe three in a half years from now, they will get themselves to the polls and those that do will fully understand what is at risk. Elections have consequences.

I'm sorry I just can't sidestep my morals  I can't sit and look away from evil, no matter what party they are or aren't on. That's exactly how we got in this mess.

Every politician is "evil" in some way. None of them are going to pass everyone's purity test. There is a vast difference between a typical politician and Trump. Voters could have stopped him, but instead we are going backwards on every civil rights issue and climate change progress we have made over the last few decades.

We got in this mess because people didn't get out and vote or voted for people who had no chance at defeating the orange fascist.

Even more reason not to encourage these monster politicians by voting for them. I refuse to bow down to a broken crooked system that forces us to vote for bad people. You might be okay with the bad, but I am not.

Paper I'm going to tell you this now, you're probably going to be out of a good few voting cycles. If not all of them.

History digs up unfortunate things later on. So even the best candidates will be evil in someway.

A president like Obama is a very rare thing, and he still have to make objectionable choices.

not only does absolute power absolutely corrupt, but you need to have a personality that can stand steady on objectionable moral ground.

Pure people don't naturally do well in politics. All the people who are fit for politics don't wanna do them, and the people who wants to do them are either obsessed with the idea of power or have idea what they're getting into.

I'm sorry for what you believe, but there are terms to reality here. the system is honestly crooked and corrupt because it needs to be so, or else it would probably collapse under its own weight.

There was one monster in this past election and they won and are now in the process of dismantling decades of moving forward. The other viable candidate had the most progressive policies that have ever been on a major party and people didn't want that.

Congratulations on your big stand. You got the bad, you got the monster.

It does work.... BUT

As a society we have become way too humane for that! Torture should be left in history.

We would have gotten a monster either way though. I mean I'm just not okay with voting for someone I don't believe in. If people did, we'd have good candidates and good people as leaders. Even if i voted for Hillary, it wouldn't have made a difference so you can stop trying to make me feel bad for picking a GOOD person.

I won't sacrifice my morals or my peace of mind to vote for bad people. I refuse. I don't believe we can't have good people in positions of power, and I won't just accept evil as the status quo. I just won't buy into that way of thinking, I'm sorry.

Depends on your point of view. No one is moving forward or backwards, only changing.

No, we would have gotten someone who wanted to advance human rights and who had a progressive agenda. That was the other choice. Instead we got Trump...because people rejected progressive values, didn't vote or voted for someone who didn't have a shot of beating the monster who now has the nuclear codes in his suit jacket.

Apathy or standing for some imaginary moral high ground is what got you the monster for the next four years...enough time to rip your rights away for decades. In all good conscience, you can say that you didn't do anything to stop Trump from being the leader of the free world.

You've never walked a single street or been in a single neighborhood in any city or town in the US. What do you know?
