Ooh, nice. I've always thought she sounded better with the hand held mic.

Ikr. It's because headsets can never have the same quality as handheld mics. I was just thinking about this yesterday "will she maybe use a handheld mic?"

Untrue, Beyonce lip syncs to a live track with a handheld all the time.

Most likely she'll lip sync, it's incredibly hard to set up an entire soundsystem in a couple of minutes amongst everything else. I just hope this is the only time in her career she will ever lip sync.

No I don't think this is why they tend to lip sync at the SB. The sound is of course set up and ready before the show just like any event, not at half time. It doesn't take much to simply switch a microphone on. I think it's more to do with countering the possibility of something going wrong.

This can put the "pre-recorded vocals" rumors to end :classy:

She doesn't lip-sync so she needs to practice it....:giggle:

another shot before we kiss the other side

They're both microphones with the same function... You can lip sync or sing live in either one. One has a bad reputation for lip syncing cause it's usually used in heavy choreographed performances and the other one gives the illusion and assumption that you're singing live but it doesn't mean they are lol

Okay but it's still one of her best songs. Not sure who at Interscope thought the GP would be okay with that "blasphemous" hook though.

Judas had a great impact, so put your wigs on again please.

Yes but if Gaga used the attached one and was for example letting the backing track do the ra-ras in BR, people would've said she was lip syncing. But if she doesn't hold this mic up to her face during that part, they (hopefully) won't because that isn't lip syncing.

The hand-held mic is so much better, so I'm happy that she will use it, but I'm sure she will use the other one too in one or two songs!!!
