I took a selfie, didn't like it and asked for another one and then made a good one. I literally had an older lady at the nail salon we go to say to Mandy "Awww that's so sweet. Are you having a mother/daughter day"? I'm not kidding. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry lol. I'm 28 freakin years old damn it. I'm just short. Mandy always jokes that we should put me in a stroller and try to get the child discount at theme parks. I love you monsters. My best advice would be to ask her something personal i.e. "How are you?" "Wow that's an interesting (bracelet earrings etc) what's the story behind it?" I guarentee that once she sees that your a monster, she'll open up. She isn't saying that she doesn't want to take pictures it's just that she wants to connect with us on a real human level because she loves us so much. She wants to listen to you vent about what an asshole your bf/gf is just like 2 friends do. She wants to ask "how was school?" "How are you? No really how are you?" One of the ladies at my optometrists the other day was very short with a small frame and I thought she was really young until I saw her up close she was at least 30.
