This is embarassing.

Guys, don't just post this here. And stop deleting trump idiots from your friends lists.

You have to call them out and share everything so that trump idiots see it. If they are confronted with the fact that they voted for a fraud every single day, they will start to realize it eventually.

That's the problem with brainwashing though.

When you feel your identity is being attacked, you subconsciously don't care who you are aligning with if it protects your sensibilities :poot: Donald Trump could've admitted he was "lying about everything" etc. ON the campaign trail, and he might've lost some supporters sure, but at the end of the day this tactic of persuasion is effective because it puts people on the defensive and people will go to great lengths and put up with all of the cognitive dissonance in the world to maintain their sense of self. I agree with what you are saying about calling them out, but Im just saying that these revelations won't save people that are too far gone  In fact, there's been a surprisingly small amount of "I regret voting for this man" that I've seen, even though hes shown his true colors like, quite a bit :smh:

They are brainwashed by persistence though, remember that.

Trump and his lackeys say the same thing over and over again. So we need to call them lies over and over again. We don't have to get through all of them, just 1.5% of them is enough.

More discussion on the issues is fantastic, but there are legitimate points to bring up here.

The inauguration numbers only needed to be a small story, it was something relevant to the popularity of Trump and the true direction of the country.

"Photographs and video analysis by crowd size experts, reported by The New York Times, suggests Trump's inauguration crowd was 160,000 - just a fraction of Trump's estimate of up to 1.5 million.

The experts estimate the 470,000 participated in the women's march in DC. And when attendance at similar marches in other US states are thrown in, the total protest is estimated to have included from one million to 2.6 million people."

That's significant. The lack of people at Trump's inauguration and his low polling number indicate a lack of faith in the incoming president and the protests, the largest protests since the Vietnam War, also speak a lot about the direction of the country

(Also interesting to note that the DC metro service said on Sunday that Saturday's women's march was the second busiest day in its history - more than 1 million passenger trips. It fell just short of the 1.1 million trips taken on the day of Obama's first inauguration in 2009.)

It was certainly worth being reported, but you are right to say it's not the most important story. What's most problematic though is the response from the White House. Trump openly rejected the facts, stating :

"I get up this morning. I turn on one of the networks and they show an empty field. I say: 'Wait a minute. I made a speech. I looked out. The field was ... It looked like a million, a million and a half people.' … And they said: 'Donald Trump did not draw well.'"

The presidential spokesperson lied to the media and stated:

"Yesterday, at a time when our nation and the world was watching the peaceful transition of power and, as the President said, the transition and the balance of power from Washington to the citizens of the United States, some members of the media were engaged in deliberately false reporting.

This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration - period - both in person and around the globe. These attempts to lessen the enthusiasm for the inauguration are shameful and wrong."

Now Trump's strategist Kellyanne Conway is talking about 'Alternative Facts' and deliberately confusing what is true and what is false.

That is important! That shouldn't happen! This is a president that has labeled CNN fake news, his spokesperson has threatened that they are going to "hold the press accountable", his strategists are on television providing 'alternative facts'.

That deserves attention and close inspection. They are attacking the media for reporting the truth, anything that goes against the "Trump is strong, America is strong' narrative is false lies and fake news. This is an administration that can't handle the slightest criticism and has openly stated that they are at “a running war with the media”. That's what the real story is, and it's a very disturbing story.

Independent voters who didn't vote for him totaled around 7 million. Plus you have the millions who didn't vote at all... So when you look at the real numbers only about 25% of the voter population voted for him. Or either major candidate for that matter. It's never a true reflection of the country.

Anyway, he and his team are hypocrites. And bad hypocrites at that. They could at least try not to look so bad..

My god, this whole blatant lying and getting away with it time after time is actually terrifying. Sure, ultimately, this means nothing in the long run, but who's to say where they draw the line? It's also terrifying that they get angry at the media for reporting facts that may paint them in a negative light, especially since they have some power to silence said media.

They wont draw the line, the people have to draw it for them.

Only constant massive protesting and making sure that real information is widespread as much as possible trough social media (unless they censor it too) will stop, or at least slow things down enough to be able to regain control in 4 years.

Dems have to fight harder than they ever have, and support the next candidate as much as possible no matter what, and not allow 3rd party candidates ruin things again.
