And P.I is better than 'okay (I guess)', Its one of her best songs

I think you'll find most people do. My college mates all know about the P.I music video. My flat mate even attempted to do the mic swing when she was drunk. so ya know, it is well known :)))))

I think what I miss the most is the escapist spectacle her music videos always provided  - not necessarily a professional director. I miss the bold, cultural and avant-garde ambiguity. Her 'music videos' were pieces of film art... not just music videos. That may sound pretentious but Gaga really did set that precedent for a more filmic, feature feel. 

Take G.U.Y as an example. That was directed by Gaga and is one of her best, in my opinion. The same goes for Marry The Night, too. 

It's the statements and ideas that I miss... not a director. Sometimes those two things can be synonymous I understand; but other times not.

Acting like there is a considerable drop in quality between what you call a professionally directed video and a not professionally directed video. Not when Judas, G.U.Y., Applause, You And I, Marry The Night and others weren't directed by "professionals".

Just cause The Edge Of Glory and Million Reasons are meh that doesn't mean it's because of the director, not when Gaga has proved many times she can deliver without a "professional director", tuey are meh because of limited budget and time, or a simpler concept. If Gaga wants a video where she just farts for 4 straight minutes it doesn't matter who is directing the video.

who the hell from the GP knows about it?  neither was it ever a thing before or now in order for it to be considered iconic (tho, it's somewhat cool that part)

Most of my college mates who arent even into Gaga know about it. Its not just Gaga fans that watch her Music videos you know lmao To me, that part is iconic
