HOTNebraskaGuy 19,547
4 months later and Perfect Illusion still gets me It's so annoying if you're sitting down trying to do something and it comes on, but **** once you're on your feet it become the best song in her recent discography. The only thing that pisses me off about it is it being labeled pop tbh I still remember the night it was premiered and I literally cried of joy I'm so relieved a song like it has finally made its way into her discography One, five, ten lay a million on me

Reality 71,774
Truly one of her best songs in her whole discrography, imo. It's a shame though that it wasn't a bigger hit. The promo for it just wasn't all that good. I do agree about it's label though. It's definitely a pop-rock song, or a disco/rock/pop song. Gagz 2,572
Perfect Illusion is possibly the best song on Joanne and one of her best songs overall.
Poissonche 12,365
4 months already? What the ****. Feels like she announced it on her website just yesterday after years of waiting. And I think too it's one of her best songs ever. I think this'll be her Suffragette City: not much success at first, but recognized as one of her defining hits eventually. It's too much of a good song to let it go.
QueenTam 311
I must admit I LOVE Perfect Illusion. It is such a shame it didn't get promoted at all Could've been a Top10 hit I swear. I also like the music video. It fits the song. It's fun, wild, aggressive, full of energy And then they ****ed up with MR and that AWFUL video
misunderstood 8,736
It's honestly one of my favorite Gaga songs. "I'd rather be poor and happy, than rich and alone"

WildAmerican 13,672
It's tough for me honestly. Some days it's the worst song on Joanne, some it's the best song...

djBuffoon 11,989
I flat-out adore most of the songs on Joanne, "Diamond Heart", "John Wayne", and "Million Reasons" being my favorites. But "Perfect Illusion" is another that always keeps me coming back. I just love it. It straddles the lines between pop, rock, and disco so fluidly. Sylvanas 5,768
It really is her best song in so long. It feels as epic and creative as Bad Romance. "Who are we, if not slaves to this torment?"
Smarticle 3,178
I love the guitar(?) introduction and then when she starts singing there's so much energy to rock out to. Justice for Grigio Girls!!!
