Obama will return to Chicago, where he began his political career, to give the speech, which will reflect on his time as president and his thoughts on the future of the U.S. “Chicago’s where it all started,” Obama said in a White House video that previewed the speech. “So, I’ll be thinking back to being a young community organizer pretty much fresh out of school and feeling as if my faith in America’s ability to bring about change and our democracy has been vindicated.” You can watch his speech above starting at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday." Bebe 17,289 Posted January 11, 2017 Share Posted January 11, 2017 Obama is such an eloquent, charismatic and persuasive public speaker. Really one of the most charismatic world leaders we have seen. Speeches like this, that have such a strong tone of unity, remind us of why he won. With speeches like this I think he would have won again running against Trump. A lot of the problems I would have with Hillary Clinton if she was president elect are the same problems I have with Obama, but he has been a good and capable president.
