kvnrp 48,353
I think I remember an interview in which she said, that she doesn't want to be "sex symbol" (or something like that ) anymore because of her kids, and then the Make Me video is released, in which she basically has sex with someone she found in a casting Idk, some of her career moves feel forced to me
JustAnotherDay 8,402
She definitely broke away after her first two albums, but she was very much a manufactured pop star. She was a pretty girl with an average voice who sang suggestive music and had no input in her music or career. She was pretty much built by her management to be a hit making machine that everyone always talked about. was NickARTPOP

REALITY 76,971
She's actually a clone though 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰
London GUY 5,628
She doesn't write, perform, or in blackout, potentially even sing her own a songs, and if she had control over her label she wouldn't let her management be so god-awful REPLAY

Rockets 1,807
But she kinda is by now, you just have to accept that imho....I love Britney but let's be honest most of the things she does seem forced, or like she just does them because she has to. I don't see passion in her. Probably it has to do with her tragic 2007 breakdown, I mean yeah she's fully recovered now but I also think she will never be the same again. I'm not saying she's not talented tho (Everytime is my fav song from her and it was written almost completely by her iirc), it's just that in my opinion being an entertainer and an artist is not fun for her anymore, even if she says the opposite in interviews. The only girl I've ever loved was born with roses in her eyes

Britney is a nice lady who has paved the way for EVERY single modern pop star today, but her "art" has always been the direct result from her team. Her baby voice was even pushed by producers to make her sound more "appealing" because she was marketed as a sex symbol. She's very much a grade a case of a manufactured pop star (and a very successful one in that case)
