A Very Gaga Holida 20,349 Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Gaga's Super Bowl halftime show is happening within a month, and she may perform her next single. Back in October, she said that A-YO was still planned to be the third single after Million Reasons. When she put out the music video for Million Reasons, she also posted video of a dancer dancing to A-YO on Instagram, writing it was "the next installment in the story of Joanne." Here's a small recap of what I think would happen for each song of the album if it was released as 3rd single. Diamond Heart The way Gaga sings and the production of the verses are everything but radio-friendly, and the song is too loud to be a hit nowadays. It could have been a hit in 2013/2014 though. The lyrics still perfectly fit the Super Bowl. A-YO The hype for the song is kind of over as it was already announced as a single and already performed a couple of times. We also already have a part of the video and the single cover. Nothing will be surprising or be exciting. The song the such a bop though, it has the potential to be a huge #1 hit, if people finally accept to listen to something else as they did back in 2008 with Gaga or 2011 with Adele. It's the most radio-friendly song on the record by far. A Super Bowl performance would be good too. Joanne The song could sell well, but will probably never be a hit. It too slow for the radio and happy songs are the thing now, I guess. A Super Bowl performance would be an absolute flop. John Wayne The stans' favourite song from the album. It doesn't fit radio playlists, but it could be exciting and fresh for the fans. Just imagine the choregraphy for a Super Bowl performance. Slay. Dancin' In Circles It could be the next spring/summer hit, if the music video was not the follow-up to Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons, but was an esthetic, iconic and sexy video. She will never perform the song at the Super Bowl, though. She promised not to be scandalous. Sinner's Prayer The song could only flop. It doesn't have the potential to be a radio hit, and couldn't sell real well... A performance at the Super Bowl would a total mess. Come To Mama Same comment as Sinner's Prayer. Hey Girl The song sounds very fresh and modern, but I don't see radio stations playing it. It's too slow and too long. It still could sell a lot and be the Starstruck of Joanne. It doesn't fit the Super Bowl at all. Angel Down The raw vocals and slow rythm won't help the song climbing on the charts. The Beyoncé fans that imagine that Lemonade is an incredible album could say Gaga copied her with the message of the song. Twitter mess would happen, it's not time for another controversy. A Super Bowl performance would be great for the song, but bad for the rest of the show. Let's be honnest with youselves, Grigio Girls stans, the deluxe songs may never be released as radio singles. Just Another Day could be a (very) moderate hit and complete slayage though. What song do you think Gaga picked as 3rd single from Joanne? I don't care about "oh it's too loud" or" it's definetly not radio friendly". Cuz there is nothing radio friendly about this era y'all need to get over the fact that Gaga won't get a hit out of this era the sooner the better. If not DH John Wayne. The reason I chose these songs is because they're more upbeat. We need something upbeat and something we know for sure should get some choreo.
