This means Ronson was going to be a "feat." or only the producer of a few songs, but then Questlove pushed her to create some toned down songs and the work with Ronson was so fascinating for her that she decided to work with him for the complete album and then picked the most toned down song from RedOne's collection to be a good sport and not f-xk RedOne over. Questlove? You think that irrelevant influenced Gaga? Haha, no, if there was any influence, it was the label, ever since Jimmy Iovine left and John Janick took over there's been this change in their artists and poor promotion choices from their A&R team. Spoiler Or it can all just be Stefani herself, wanting to show a more personal side of herself that you've all been crapping all over cuz you want pop and pomp and showy avant garde outfits and loud music. Most people talk about working on or recording a 'song', they don't feel the need to explain that it's a demo and not the polished version. A demo is still, by definition a song "A demo (from "demonstration") is a song or group of songs recorded for limited circulation or reference use rather than for general public release" As RedOne said: "We recorded about 8 songs, but I do not know their future because she is still looking for the exact direction of the record. Four of these songs are very powerful and one is a Grammy-worthy song, very special" Redone recorded around 8 songs (most likely demos - I doubt Gaga was wasting time and money mastering and perfecting 8 songs when she still didn't know the exact direction of the record). One of those songs was Angel Down. Whether that's reflective of every song they made together or whether Angel Down was the 'Grammy- worthy' song he was talking about is unknown.
