Of course she catches him cheating soon atfer in Just Like Me and she doesn't want her to have him. So she tries to win him back sexually without confronting him about the infidelity in Luv Me Down. Then she wants to break up with him but she is too obsessed with him to make it happen in Hard to Forget Ya. Then she is trying to convince him she is better by letting him know she is everything he needs sexually in Whatcha Need. Then she continues her obsession with him  because she thinks she knows him  very well and therefore the sex is Better. Then he tries to break up with her because he sees no future with her and she doesn't want to let him go, so she wants to change his mind with Change Your Mind.

I don't see a 'cohesive' story in this part. It's basically: she tries to win him back, she tries to break up, she tries to win him back, she tries to break up. I don't know its just my opinion.

Are we listening to the same albums as each other? :oprah: Joanne is good as good as good as good as gold and Glory doesn't come close, even tho I love Glory

im genuinely trying to understand what brings you to this conclusion :poot:

Its personal preferences. Just because Joanne has more meaning and is a more acclaimed does not mean someone will like it

Yeah, okay, but I think it's just trying too hard to get a story out of Glory

No one has yet to answer my question. Lol what's the story? How is Joanne a cohesive effort that has been thought out from start to finish to tell a complete story. It's obvious Gaga has better vocals and lyrics but they don't come together to tell a good story as a complete album.

Joanne has better vocals, production, melodies and lyrics. The themes about love, family and life in general are obvious. An album doesn't have to tell a cohesive story to be good...  I just don't really get your point.

+ I don't really get what's the 'story' that Glory is telling. Your thoughts feel like a little bit of a reach, I think. A storytelling album is Beyoncé's Lemonade, for example, or Bjork's Vulnicura. Glory is not like that.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Delusional Aura

Was this a thread to drag joanne?

Gaga said this isn't a concept album as well as explained what it is about:

You wanna drag the Joanne's music videos? Fine by me, just look this mess:

But don't try coming all up in here trying saying you could barely make through 10 of Joanne's 13 songs and then continue to compare with a woman who's lip-syncing is her next important thing to breathing.

Or, a woman who doesn't write her own songs.

Or, a woman who can't even play an instrument.

Lemonade is basically describing the different stages a person is going through when their partner is cheating: Intuition, Denial, Anger, Apathy, Emptiness, Accountability, Reformation, Forgiveness, Resurrection, Hope, and Redemption.

It also has quite a few references to her heritage, black culture and the Black Lives Matter movement.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

17. Coupure Électrique <-- easily more interesting than every song on Joanne.

LOL.... thread cancelled :what:

-The song is repetitive AF

-The lyrics are really basic

-The name of the song lacks creativity as its recycled from "Blackout"

-Whoever knows French can agree that her pronunciation is beyond tragic
