No one has yet to answer my question. Lol what's the story? How is Joanne a cohesive effort that has been thought out from start to finish to tell a complete story. It's obvious Gaga has better vocals and lyrics but they don't come together to tell a good story as a complete album.

To the people having visceral reactions how are you even being objective?

Someone please explain the story in Joanne and how it flows together as an album because I don't get it.:neyde:

She said herself that it isn't necessarily supposed to have an overarching story, it's just a collection of stories from her life.

Basic pop album = Glory

Even ARTPOP is better than that!

I view it as an album about life and love from tracks 1-5. Then that love ends abruptly and the rest of the album is finding the strength in yourself, family, and friends in order to move on and live again.

Maybe John Wayne is more interesting sonicly but the bridge is not good. other than that it's pretty much a good statement.

Are we listening to the same albums as each other? :oprah: Joanne is good as good as good as good as gold and Glory doesn't come close, even tho I love Glory

im genuinely trying to understand what brings you to this conclusion :poot:

OK this is good. I'm not sure how Joanne, A-Yo and especially DIC fit into this explanation though.

Joanne doesn't have a storyline because it's not a conceptual album like her previous ones, is a personal album.

Most of music is gimmicky in Joanne. Those cowboy sounds are from old Western movies. It's not really new or innovative. That bass guitar in Sinners Prayer is a great example of that and Come to Mama just an old recycled sound found in any number of 80's movie sound tracks.
