GP is VERY MUCH here for this song. Look at the countries where it's getting lots of airplay - it's in Top 10 if not Top 5 on iTunes in those countries. US is still a tricky country for her and for the song to become big it eventually needs RADIO AIRPLAY to keep it stable and/or make it rise. We all know that radio is not really supporting her anymore though so not much to do. But it is absolutely wrong to say people are not here for the song when it shoots up to almost #1 everywhere where its getting some bigger promo. The song would already be a hit if radio was not literally boycotting her. If radio is not going to give the song a change any time soon then yes, of course it's not going to become a hit we were all hoping for but as of now it's far from being a flop.

I hate when fans do that ****, bitch I got other things to do my part-time job isn't to make Gaga's song a hit, if the general public love it they'll love it, if they got no interest they got no interest, it's life, move on. No need to write some guidelines to how to make Gaga's song a hit, it sounds desperate and nobody gonna do it, at least no grown ass man/woman got time for that

Honestly, I think the song has found success but just in the areas that we care for. I mean, it has done pretty well compared to some of her last few efforts. I'm not sure if people just aren't here for Gaga or the song, but all we can do is hope that the next single does better.

Joanne is a great album but has no hits material, mostly because the trends in mainstream pop music are completely in a different place right now. MR is not a hit, it won't take off and most likely future singles won't be hits either. Gaga is not stupid and probably knew this while she was making the album. If she's happy with it, I'm happy too, I'm just glad I like the music.

And to the people commenting on OT's grammar: not everyone is a native english speaker, stop acting like 5 year olds.

TBH, I really don't think people (apart from dedicated fans) are that interested in or aware of Gaga anymore. At least from my personal experience.

I loved Joanne and both singles, but look at her contemporaries (those that aren't making generic music), like Beyoncé, Adele, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, etc. They're making solid music and are getting either big hits (Bruno/The Weeknd) or amazing album sales (Beyoncé/Adele).

Gaga's getting neither. Both singles have tanked, and the album is doing well but nothing to write home about. Bruno's already got something like 1.2 million sales and counting, compared with something like 4/500k for Joanne.

I don't mean to be negative, but it's the truth. People just don't listen to her anymore, at least not significantly enough. I've found it hard to deal with actually (it sounds pathetic but it gave me a couple of spates of depression in September/October), as I really thought this was gonna be the turnaround album.

ALTHOUGH - the one thing I'm holding out for is that this is her '4' - i.e. the album that bombs commercially, but gives her the confidence to do more exciting, challenging music and bring us her 'STEFANIÉ' and her 'Orangade' - if you get the references. So maybe all is not lost, but it's not changing anytime soon.
