Let those ****wads know what the rest of the world thinks they are. Nod if you wanna make love with the enemy. ❤
takemetovenus 4,826
Oh my god please that would be so iconic
YaaaasGaga 6,119
That would be a moment that would go down in history, especially looking back over Trumps presidency and his legacy at the end of his term and all the crap he's going to cause. What a smart and inspiring woman she is giving a metaphorical middle finger to the racists!
Yuuri 21,636
The girl should sing Come To Moma.
ItsTommyBitch 12,640
I'd be here for it. If someone is gonna do it, I'd rather it be for this kind of cause than some D-list celebrity no one knows (or worse an A-list that's a Trump Supporter; they'd be blacklisted unless they are already super duper country ) 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Harry 26,836
Just now, neptugne said: I've never even heard of her what's she famous from? She was on X Factor here in the UK like six years ago. She's barely been that relevant here let alone in the US, so it's kind of a testament to how badly they're struggling to find performers for this. She's mainly famous in the UK and Europe for being on X Factor UK and has had a decent solo career afterwards. In all honesty, she has got a beautiful voice and she's quite sweet. Ashley 9,599
I doubt they'd allow her to do it. This song is really disturbing and sad, never been able to listen to it much.
SKANK 14,288
Strange Fruit is breathtaking song based on a beautiful poem, but it's irrelevant to Trump's brand of demagoguery.

Kind of, but is there a form of musical expression that protests or sends a message to all groups affected by Trump's demagoguery? I understand Strange Fruit would be very specific, but its still something (not that this is even remotely likely to happen) nice that people could possibly appreciate. We've got a wide variety of messages that could be sent in some act of good faith, but I can't think of a way to cover all or even most of them without being excessively generic 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

It just doesn't make sense to perform at Trump's ingratiation, at all. There are other protest songs that would be more relevant.

As long as his supporters are there, there will be relevance. Even if the black civil rights movement is irrelevant to Trump's agenda, it's not like there aren't people using him who would find it relavent to them.
