I was in high school at the time and one of my teachers saw her at some small venue in LA and told me all about it (this teacher was cool and young and knew I loved Just Dance; I found that song because my best friend was a Colby O'Donis fan lmao!). I became so interested after hearing about her performance and began looking up videos of her performing and stuff and idk, I just got hooked! I was never big on the pop music scene (always loved alternative, rock, classic rock, and oldies), but she was just so different...like an classic glam rockstar but in the pop scene. It's funny because I think about how I've been a huge fan since 07/08, but my top 10 songs from her are not that sound at all. In order my top songs are: TEOG, Yoü and I, Perfect Illusion, Diamond Heart/A-YO, Joanne, Speechless, Sinner's Prayer/Come to Mama, MTN, Bad Romance/Monster, BTW. Naor Daniel 937 Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 I was too young to ever stan anyone but I really loved Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Lovegame and Eh Eh and it's an usual number of songs to love from one artist in only a year. Then came Bad Romance which made me download all of The Fame Monster and so it was the first full album I've ever listened to. I lost interest during Born This Way (didn't even bother listening to the album) until one of my dates was obsessed with her and made me listen to some of the songs on the album. It took me over a month to listen to Applause and after a couple of times I really loved it. Then came the Aura lyric video which I REALLY REALLY loved and became increasingly interested in her upcoming album. All of the snippets made me crazy and I got the album the moment it was released. So I wasn't a full fledged fan until ARTPOP but I always loved her songs more than I did for other artists. <3 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It wasn't until VMAs Paparazzi that completely turned me into a stan. I was blown out of my mind and then The Fame Monster dropped and I died.
