We used to be so united and supportive of Gaga especially during Born This Way, now things have become so divisive and critical and everything turns into a popularity contest. Now Monsters are only concerned with number ones and want to control everything Gaga does down to the style of music she makes. What happened? Maybe the new fans are living for this because that's why they joined but come on, this isn't the "Gaga" that attracted the initial wave of monsters. She's changed and her old fans can't handle it. It's either she goes back or the old fans move on and make way for the new fans who will be more appreciative of this work. I've been in this fanbase for 8 years and Joanne is my second favorite album from her. That means I grew with her and my musical taste evolved along with her musical style. The others? Monsters/gaga were the first people who loved me unconditionally for who I was. Always be thankful for that I love you monsters. I find myself in the catchy dark pop hooks category, to be really honest, but the thing that alienates me the most are her attitude and lies. However, I still like Joanne and I think it's her best album vocals-wise. But yeah if she keeps on with this trend I'll probably go away like the others. You're not pitting Gaga against her past self (like some other delulus here like to do), but you're pitting her against other female singers which is just as bad and creates negativity and divisiveness.
