Exactly. We'll always be little monsters to her no matter how old we get just as she'll always be mama monster to me no matter how old she gets. Deep down I think she wishes she could go back in time to the glitter and disco stick days for just a little while longer to just cherish the time she had with us back then. It's like she blinked and we were all "grown up". Even when she's old and grey, she'll always cherish us because truthfully we aren't just fans to her. Our bond goes way deeper than that.

Once during a show (the BTWB I think) she said something about her "Little Monsters" but followed that statement up with "Well, I guess you're not so little anymore". So I take it as Monsters are veteran Gaga fans, Little Monsters are newer and/or younger fans...all based on that one statement though

And, obviously, the difference between a stan/fan and a (Little) Monster is that fans may stream or buy a few songs here and there, stans might go to her shows and argue about her in the YouTube comments or on atrl or whatever, but Monsters live and breathe her work. We're inspired by her and we feel a true emotional connection with her and with each other. Monsters, especially when it comes to communities like GGD, we're not just a fanbase, we're a family and Gaga is our Mother Monster 

I definitely see why some people cringe at statements like that but I don't really care. I have a true feeling of love for Gaga and my fellow Monsters and no amount of scoffing or negativity will ruin that

OT: My casket will have to be custom made to allow me to have my Monster Paw up until I turn to dust

Thank you so much for taking your time to quote me and reply to me. Means a lot! I can truly relate with your words that you said above. It is amazing how she inspired us all to think, breathe, and gain inspiration from her almost the same way. 

My sister's music consisted of The Backstreet Boys, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, and Avril Lavigne; They were mainly ballads that I was never interested in. I remember her claiming I would love to check out this new song, but I ignored it. One day I heard this song that captivated me all of a sudden. I remember asking her what song that was with her responding: "That's the same song I told you that you'd be interested in to hear." I was only nine years old back then. The song I heard was "Starstruck". I fell in love with Lady Gaga immediately. I remember forcing my parents to purchase materials to craft my own disco stick, and "Poker Face" mask. I love her so much.  The Fame Monster was the first album I have ever purchased. She is my history and my life. That is why I claimed in my post how my history with Gaga is a reason alone that I will forever be a Little Monster.

Since, I consider myself as a veteran monster who purchased all her records, remix albums, etc. The term Little Monster is so nostalgic, remembering everything she did in less than a decade as I grew up with her is one of the best things in my life. I love this community so much with all my heart. She was the reason I started writing music. I remember when "Born This Way" was released dancing to in front of my family the choreography at just 10 or 11 years old.

Sorry for the lengthy post, but I just love her a lot.

I don't understand how some of you find the term "Little Monster" cringey. Like, okay? Just because you don't "like" it? A tad disrespectful too. That's how she wants to affectionately refer to us, for f*ck's sake she has it tattooed on her arm...

Anyway, I've been a huge stan since the beginning of her career, and I can honestly say she's changed my life, and I've felt a spiritual connection with her music and lyrics through the years. I just love her so much. There's no way I can deny that title. It almost feels branded on my soul or something. It will always remain with me.
