If Beyoncé can pay homage to the Black Panthers and be relatively unscathed while sticking to her ideals, Gaga can push whatever message she wants to, especially under this farcical presidency. So if she teams up with the SB team (or wtv they are called), I think we can expect a great show. Plus, it's not like Gaga is not an awesome performer already. Is it impossible to simply enjoy a performance? And why does it have to better than Beyonce, Madonna, and Katy's? I'm not worried because even IF she tones it down and has a more rocker vibe show with a band and leaves out the theatrics, it will still be great because Gaga is an amazing performer. It's Lady ****ing Gaga, some controversy is actually expected from her. Anyways, I'm sure she knows she has to put on a show. After all, she secured the SB from her discography, performances, and pop culture impact. Those are things that the committee looks at in choosing a Halftime show act. It'll be okay.
