AVeryGagaHolyDick 25,302
You can hear it easily in Judas before the structure is really special EDIT: WTF is this "sentence" I wrote

FRANZGA 13,920
I bop to it when it's released plus the vid.. but it has aged terribly, BR 2.0 and I guess gp saw it as noise coz it's too loud.. I haven't even played it for half a year or usually skip it when it started playing.. sarry

Gaga and her team should've known better, releasing this as single #2 damaged her career + BTW album sales ... Thank god THE EDGE OF GLORY existed Here it was on the radio ALL THE TIME. There was a huge contronversy about the religious lyrics of the song. I think it helped Born This Way, because those who didn't like the title track liked Judas more for sounding like Bad Romance

Swan Heart 7,382
Because it is a lesser version of Bad Romance. The Edge Of Glory should have been the second single. Or even the lead. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.
Akiki 3,900
BTW was bigger than we think. lots of places banned the album and singles. Adele and Gaga alone set records for the industry that year. Gosh... we used to be such a powerhouse and here we are... rockbottom

MelbHawker 6,583
I love Judas. It's one of my most loved Gaga songs - it's so utterly her. Such a distinct, bold pop song. Ugh it's perfection. That whole era was so badass. The video was PERFECTION oh my god. It's not hard to see why it underperformed given how hot Gaga was at that point in time. It's themes and all the controversy/the release co-inciding with Easter was messy.
JustAnotherDay 8,402
The problem was mostly that people didn't really like the song. It is very loud and jarring and it didn't get very good radio callout scores. It actually did decent in central Europe and a couple other places but most places it debuted high because of BTW era's huge hype but then quickly fell down the charts. was NickARTPOP
Dominic 11,922
It did moderately well here so it couldn't have hit much harder. It was a second single, similar structure to BR (majority spotted instantly), had its controversies (not as hyperbolic as you make out), can be seen as repetitive and people were also tiring of Gaga at this point. Given these factors it actually did pretty well? The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
