They met briefly end of '15 but I assume that's just to discuss/swap material (AD). I'd imagine this was in reference to her conceptual album with RedOne. Also Elton John saying he heard a couple of songs that reminded him of BR and You and I which sounds like he heard the stuff RedOne and Gaga worked on. But although she produced new songs, "Joanne" could be the aesthetic Gaga was going towards with RedOne we don't really know. Also y'all need to get over this whole RedOne or scrapped album idea because she didn't scrap an entire album she made like 8 demos and probably realised he couldn't make the music she wanted and couldn't get out of the "let's make another bad romance" head he's had on for years that's all. Are they like your previous hits? RedOne: They are very close to what we already did, with some evolutions. You can tell that it’s me and her! If you understand it, you will know that it’s us. At some point, one of them was going to be the first single. But later this was cancelled and I don’t know what happened to it. Do you really think that Gaga would pick supposedly lead single without an actual album material / album concept? I'm 99% sure that there was at least rough package of LG5 before Joanne, also what was she supposed to perform on Grammys if Bovie didn't die etc... At that time, when a read "my old self", I thought that it meant she was going back to The Fame and The Fame Monster. But now we know that it literally meant her old self as a person, not only as her father's daughter, but as her father's sister. Joanne is LG5 she never made an entirely different concept y'all need to get off her d*ck about this. And yeah the lead single was cancelled (it's redone so it was prolly some bad romance rehash anyway) but she had no clear concept of the sound or direction until mid 2015 most likely because she was working with a mishmash of disco, dance, pop, jazz, rock etc producers here and there. This fanbase tries to hard to make up for when she's badly received or branded a flop by saying "oh she was gonna go somewhere AMAZING before blahblahblah happened" y'all did it with ARTPOP too EDIT: GRAMMYs was supposed to be a hit medley mindtrappa confirmed this Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
