But what's the freakin point in third single if even the second one which has also the biggest potential out of all the songs on the album was not able to do it?  Like why would radio want to play Lady Gaga's third single if they didn't want to play Lady Gaga's second single that actually did show massive potential?  Just release the video but don't make it "the official third single" (only if MR really doesn't take off after SB...I still have some hope). I guess I'm incredibly wrong with my opinion about this but....just..... I don't know anymore.

MR isn't bggest potential single material, it's not even trendy, it just lacks of star power Gaga has alone, song is just a lackluster, it's nothing good, basic song,(Somewhat Adele reject) even tho I lowkey like it, but it's not a singleworthy at all, considering Gaga's type music and image GP has on her, that's why it stagnates in most of the globe.

The only reason why it's stagnating is because radios aren't spinning her :awkney: probably MR is the best single choice since TEOG and you need to deal with it, like other. No other singles off of Joanne will do better than MR. Have you seen MR's chart run in Italy/Swiss? It's not like the GP in these countries have different image of Gaga or different taste in music. And the fact that MR is holding on in the 40s/50s all over the world SHOWS the fact that it's a hit ready to slay but can't start without radios' support.

The musical tendencies in Italy/Swiss is kinda different compared to US and other place which catches on US trends and whats not, radios arent spinning because it lacks xfactor, it's not type of the song US are into atm, look Rockabye and other stuff, edm mixed with tropical sounds/live instrumentals(violin, piano other stuff)

Stop it. Million Reasons is a high quality, amazingly written power ballad with lots of potential. If performed by a streaming  artist or Adele it would definitely do much better than what it did for Gaga. Full stop. Plus the song is just really really good.

I'm not saying that one factor killed the song, the video, the lack of streams, the lack of radio it all killed MR, but it isn't catchy as others songs what I meant, that's a simple deal, it's a cute lil bop.

You can say that when a country song FLOPS in Italy. That's DIFFERENT. And in Italy that pop drop beat is a the kind of music that people are liking it (let me love you, cold water, rockabye ecc) so this makes no sense since MR is slaying and BECAUSE it's an amazing song and makes people feel emotions. That's all

Thrasher

Just saw an ad about NFL playoffs which featured Applause here in Italy

Don't know if it's something related to Gaga's halftime show or it's just a coincidence
