Nope because MR doesn't have "radio's support" PI had.

That would make sense if the song wasn't selling in the countries where radio picked it up, so I'm afraid you're wrong :diane:

sweetie, in Italy, a place that has accepted the song, it is top 5 on itunes despite the fact it isn't even top 20 on radio. If you don't think that show major hit potential then your frankly just delusional. It's obvious you don't like the song. but you don't have to lie.

They need to put MR on Hot Tracks permanently in Italy. The top 3 have been there for months. It'd catch up a lot if it had similar exposure.

And it was certified gold in Canada despite having 0 radio support...

It's in the 5th column! Time to move in the first

That just shows that the song can sell without radio. And it's not the case in the US where it only sells if it's discounted or gets promo.

It has a better than average sales:radio ratio than a song with its AI normally would, in the US, despite the fact year end countdowns have pushed many old hits into the top 100. If you don't like the song just say it, instead of trying to prove something that simply isn't true.

I think my original post was misunderstood. I don't think PI would have been huge, but I don't think it would have flopped the way so hard if it would have had more promo. I still think MR would have been bigger than PI. Ballads tend to be bigger and more accepted in general than the sound she gave us in PI.
