Actually A-Yo is the only song on Joanne that was crafted to be a hit for 2016. Even Gaga says in an interview that she tried to stimulate UF's success. A-Yo sounds like a-bit-less-of-a-mess MANiCURE, it wouldn't become a hit at ALL.
