SMILE2NE1

If it was pre-Joanne, I would truly be more excited.

Hopefully we don't get sentimental minimalistic Gaga that more than often comes off more as tacky, poorly produced as well as lacking taste and inspiration.

Why would she take this huge opportunity and not be take advantage of it by being the GAGA that the gp want to see. It would be A terrible decision to perform her biggest hits on such a huge platform as the SUPER BOWL and not be the visual spectacle that the public knows her to be.

STREAMLINED/STRIPPED/ AMERICANA JOANNE APPROACH: If she goes even remotely minimalist, she can kiss her career, longevity, and 80% of her fans goodbye. It will solidify her as a niche artist that was "cool in the early 2010`s. I cannot stress this enough, she is on thin THIN ice with her base, let alone the GP.

DELIVERS/BRINGS HITS: If Gaga takes the cliche approach that delivers high energy, modern visuals, and brings back memorable hits, her fans will say it slayed, half of the GP will enjoy it that day, and half of the GP will hate it. This is better than flatlining, but it essentially sets her up as another Britney, mediocre album sales for another two or three records, and a Vegas residency or Judge Status on X Factor in 2025. This means people will remember her as a contributor to pop, but not an innovator.

POLARIZING/RE SET THE BAR APPROACH: This is where Gaga can actually re-excite the public....but it requires guts and completely rethinking herself, thereby making what others think of her change. It will require pulling out every state of the art stop, insane visuals no one has seen, delivering the hits and even reimagining them, giving at least one vocal moment that takes dumps on recent artists, bringing out a badass LIKE ZZTOP OR MOTLEY CRUE and having one controversial highly politicized shocker (the death of a character akin to Ziggy Stardust) that really gets it to be a moment. It must be next level. If this happens, she will comeback again. The SP IS THE BIGGEST MOST FOCUSED ON AND ANALYZED STAGE IN THE WORLD. She cant just slay, she has to shock.

Delusional Aura

I expect great vocals with her air playing a guitar she clearly doesn't know how the hell to play. Nothing more.

I feel like everyone should keep their expectations as low as possible so they don't meltdown after the SB performance

I will add to this: Don't have expectations at all.
