It's not quite the same as faking a hate crime or discrimination, which in turn, just hurts those who go through actual hate crimes. Both are equally disgusting things, but my point was more to the latter: that when you fake a hate crime or discrimination you just make those that go through it struggle that much more to get support. I just wanted to add quite a few cases on the other side, these people faked vandalism, hate crimes and terrorism and blamed it on poc. By that logic, when real vandalism or terror attack happens to a white group of people, wouldn't these old examples do a lot of harm and make other people more suspicious if it was false flag or not, if the victim is actually a liar or criminal by himself? I think not, because then it's about individual case and most won't generalize and bring a fake story from the past to discredit every future incident. You know what I mean? The title lead to believe it was racially motivated which it wasn't.
