Really? I find the chorus so empowering, but indeed Sia could do better compared to other songs... And Kendrick's part is not good I think

But the videos makes up for it, it's amazing and touching, I think she's the only one to put homage to the Orlando victims in her music/visuals, a real artist :)

I agree. I don't like Kendrick's part at all tbh, but 'The Greatest' is such a powerful song. When I found out the video was dedicated to the Orlando victims I almost cried, especially when I paid more attention to the details.

Was never the biggest fan of Sia, but she's undeniably a great talent :applause:

Diamonds?! You realize that song blocked Die Young from #1

And that's a bad thing because...?

Future Lover

The thing I love the most about her is that she doesn't care. She's putting in the least amount of effort possible and still doing better than some of her contemporaries.

I'm excited to see what she does for her next album.

Elastic Heart featured The Weeknd? :rip:

yup, he was on the remix version for The Hunger Games soundtrack. That's the version that made the song climb the chart

If you guys have never listened to her older albums I HIGH KEY recommend that you do. If you truly enjoy the sound of Joanna then you'll love her earlier work. She's been making music for A LONG time.

UNRELATED but Sia is such a corporate musician, it bothers me that she does it all for the money and commercial success. She would write a song for any movie, endorse any product, write for anyone who asked, etc.

I still love her bops tho

If you are a fan of Sia like me for a long time (long before 1000 forms of fear came out) you know how heartbreaking and tragic seeing a list like this is. Sia's actual best works are probably in her older albums "Some People Have Real Problems" and my personal fave "We Are Born".

Seeing songs like "the greatest" and "cheap thrills" on that list while songs like "breathe me" and "soon we'll be found" exist in her discography is the definition of tragic tbh

I guess charts are what matters  :toofunny:

Well, girl needs to make money, her voice and writing style is suited for pop anyway
