It means I have no common points with people who complain about stress, about being offended by words, etc.] , and so on. In the very beginning of her career, Gaga had a completely different attitude. She was badass, careless, and embraced the dominant culture to make it her own. I don't think it matters whether her attitude was a persona or not, it is what the public perceived. And that is the Gaga I fell in love with. Then, gradually, she started becoming more and more preachy, more and more focused on "social justice" and on "raising awareness" on an ever-increasing number of topics that are more and more unrelatable to me. Now I am in a situation where I do love Gaga, just like I do love long-time friends, but I dont really see the point in what she's doing, in why she's doing in, and I find it hard to even believe she's completely sincere with what she says about herself. Is anyone else in the same/a similar situation? How do you cope with it? All I ever wanted was to change the world one sequin at a time XOXO I love you monsters. Katie14 4,828
Do you really think she is exaggerating abouts her mental issues? If anything, she's probably just scratching the surface of the turmoil that goes on in her head.

Just because someone feels different it doesn't mean they are bad. The guy just said how he feels and you're already telling him to go away! I posted an earlier post to him [ the op ], this one that you quoted was another response to another with a reply. Violins babe~ The future's uncertain and the end is always near. [cc @Sister] You need to pay better attention, start from her beginning and continue to here and now. I only responded here because you @ me I honestly do not care if you get it, how much she has grown but yet has stayed the same New York kind of girl. I stand by my original post to your original post, that is all that needs to be taken in mind. The future's uncertain and the end is always near. Argumentative. She did change her attitude, and that is my point. You are trying to ignore that fact with ad hominem arguments, who knows why. 5 minutes ago, Sister said: I only responded here because you @ me

No one cares much if you like Gaga or not, that is your own argument with yourself, as you sit upon a forum of an artist that you are clearly finding fault with or are at the least TRYING TO and no longer have an affinity with. You can like her music without spreading kindness and good will OR you don't have to at all. The future's uncertain and the end is always near. I stated that I do feel empathy per se, and even if I didn't it wouldn't impact Gaga's behaviour I was mostly riffing off of the "I have no common points with people who complain about stress, about being offended by words, etc.] , and so on." statement toward the beginning of your post and then providing personal anecdotes that illustrate an alternative view xoxo

Katie14 4,828
Im an empathetic person so I can identify with her need to make a positive impact on the world. I think what she is doing is great. I mean, thank god there are people like Gaga using their platform to help people! If more people were like her, the world would be a much more kinder place. baptism 2,670
I sure do miss badassga. I really appreciate her message but I miss the Gaga I fell in love with. Maybe this is part of the plan. Ruin us with bullshit normcore aesthetic and country music and then right before she loses us drop a new album album fret the Superbowl as a return to her former self. God I hope. NIghtmareElm 2,606
I wish I could be a "normal" person. It's not that I don't feel for people but it's just I am too focused on my goals and improving my life than anything else. I generally don't like a lot of people. Not anti social though. I have very few friends but they are true friends. I just don't care about spreading kindness. This is why I have a hard time getting into Gaga the person. Still into her as an artist and performer. She's become so cheesy. In 2009 she was a rockstar yet she didn't even need to try.

Exactly. All I ever wanted to do was change the world one sequin at a time. I still wanna do that. It saddens me to see what a cesspool this site has become.
