I don't wanna spread kindness

I have never been the kind of person interested in spreading kindness, positivity, awareness on "x" topic, etc.

I usually tend to mind my own business, I'm not emotional, I don't have any psychological condition, I find it hard to be empathic toward very sensible people because it is almost the opposite of who I am [EDIT: that does not mean that if I see a cancer patient lose both his parents in a car accident I go "meh, whatever". It means I have no common points with people who complain about stress, about being offended by words, etc.] , and so on.

In the very beginning of her career, Gaga had a completely different attitude. She was badass, careless, and embraced the dominant culture to make it her own. I don't think it matters whether her attitude was a persona or not, it is what the public perceived. And that is the Gaga I fell in love with.

Then, gradually, she started becoming more and more preachy, more and more focused on "social justice" and on "raising awareness" on an ever-increasing number of topics that are more and more unrelatable to me.

Now I am in a situation where I do love Gaga, just like I do love long-time friends, but I dont really see the point in what she's doing, in why she's doing in, and I find it hard to even believe she's completely sincere with what she says about herself.

Is anyone else in the same/a similar situation? How do you cope with it?

That sounds very much like the opposite of having "no mental condition". Lack of empathy is not normal.

Off topic but I never understand people who lack empathy towards people who feel pain. Just weird and frankly creepy

She still has the same passion though, just, this time she's not as aggressive and 'forward' about it. She's always been about spreading kindness and positivity.

On topic: I just think you didn't realize what Gaga is actually about because she put up a brave front. You didn't subscribe to it, but you can unsubscribe whenever you want. No need to feel sentimental, she wouldn't feel that way about you as well.

It is true tho, lack of empathy is not normal in a way, but if you don't do harm to anybody then I don't think that's really a problem. I kinda understand you in that Gaga thing, sometimes I think she's trying way too hard, and I think that's what is turning people off when they hear about her.

She's been very vocal about social issues since day 1 though. The only difference is that as TFM/BTW went on, her power on Social Media got stronger and so her message spread faster. 

And not being mean, but lacking the ability to have empathy can be relatively problematic. It's not necessarily the healthiest way to approach things

You dont have to suffer from a mental condition to receive the benefits of kindness, or to share kindness. Thats one of the reasons why I love Gaga, she belives in it so much. Makes me happy seeing that she is happy. And I spread kindness to everyone in my swim team.
