mariah has her share of some of the shadiest moment in pop music but this is totally not one of them. if anything she seems kinda scared of being offensive to anyone as she explain all her reasons when she said 'no'

Mariah is shady AF sometines but to be fair she was put on the spot, and probably really did not who know Demi Lavato was.

I laughed at this Demi part especially when she said "I don't know her either!"

 

The entire interview was rather annoying tho. Andy kept asking fairly straight forward questions but Mariah would talk about other things.

Well I was born around the mid 90s, so I'm not much older than you and know who she is. And know people born in the late 90s who know a lot about her. She's had hits throughout the 2000s in Europe and 1 in 2013. 

I can't help if people don't wanna educate themselves on her music/legacy, but majority the people who know her/heard her music, would probably list other songs before AIWFCIY. 

I'm a millennial but still listened to/checked out some music before my time. But I can't even really say she was before your time because she had many hits during your lifetime and only started in the 90s.

Mariah has a thousand classics, she's basically the main vocal inspiration of most popstars these days, including Demi.  

People acting shady because they barely know her discography are actually embarrassing themselves.

I feel like people take these comments she makes as waaaaaay deeper than they actually are. The original J.Lo shade might have been actual shade but these literally just feel like her saying she doesn't want to make judgments about celebs she doesn't know well  she talks super nicely about the people she's had pleasant conversations with. It's such a high-school-level-drama concept to ask her about women she doesn't know and "gossip" about them being talentless or something.
