withjudas 166 Posted December 18, 2016 Share Posted December 18, 2016 Firstly I just want to say, this isn't intended to be a statement about whether the original video is good or bad. It wasn't to my taste but I know loads of people love it. However, I noticed there was a lot of parallels in story line between the MR video and the GUY video (ARTPOP & Venus parts) – The loss/betrayal/demise at the beginning, then the resolute of acceptance and friendship at the end. I wanted to see how it would look and feel to use those parts of the video instead and I actually feel more empathic for Gaga in the GUY video than in the MR video strangely. I know there are clear continutity issues (e.g Gaga was wearing denim shorts in PI so wouldn't wake to be in another outfit) but you the idea. I personally feel this is the creativity I would like to have seen in the actual MR video. Anyway here it is :). Let me know what you think.
