Why was your thread needed when your only response to being presented with evidence is "no it's not" along with a further justification on why unconstructive criticism is the most important right to your existence?

Lazy work is lazy. Negative feedback isn't hatred. Criticism can be harsh but that doesn't make it unfair  

People will paint contrary opinions as hateful so they don't have to accept that other viewpoints are valid. 

You could very much say the same thing about the "criticism" about her work. Providing specifics about the video and saying "She could have done 'x' better" or "It would have worked better if she incorporated _____ into the video" is criticism. Calling it and her lazy; and saying that it has no artistic meaning or value; saying it sucks, none of that is constructive criticism. 

You could very well say the same things about these "critical" opinions. People can, and will, paint their opinions as constructive criticism only to provide no real specifics of what that necessarily means, and instead try to validate their blatant hate.

Again, you can have constructive criticism; however, when it comes to a point where it's just hateful words, that's just unacceptable.

There's a difference between having a constructive viewpoint, and having one that does nothing but spew hate at someone.

It's not that you have to be pro-Gaga. I personally don't like things she's done, but I'm not going to say "She sucks", or "She's lazy", or "She's lost her creativity" or anything of that nature.

But that's not the point you're actually making. Her losing her creativity is an observstion, her making a video with recycled footage is an observstion.

It's YOUR observation, it's your subjective perception of reality. It's a narrative that leaves out people who don't think like you, whose brains are wired as yours is. Like.. you can see the video that you very appearently loathe, but unless you can get a hold of MRT scans of Gaga's brain, your statements are purely speculative and unverifiable.

Her losing her creativity is subjective. I don't think she's lost it. The visuals are simpler, yes, there's no contesting that; however, the creative passion is still there. Gaga's more than a visual artist, she's, you know, a musician. The meaning and the messages behind the music are just as intricate and as creative as her previous works.

The recycled footage is an observation, yes, and if someone had pointed that out and suggested something else, that's constructive. However, someone saying "She's using recycled footage. That's lazy, it sucks", that does nothing positive whatsoever. Okay, she used recycled footage, and?? Plus, most people were okay with the footage from the Apple commercial, and now you see it again, and y'all make it a huge deal? Some of you literally said that you had hoped that the A-YO video would be like the Apple commercial. Okay, so if she had released an A-YO video like the Apple commercial, would we still be seeing all these 'critiques'.

Saying things are degrading is subjective. It's clearly different, but it's not a degradation, imo. Joanne itself doesn't necessarily need the huge, over-the-top visuals, which is a point she made in the beginning of this era. And, again, she's a musician too. The music itself is wonderful and entails the same level of creativity as previous works.

My subjective two cents, I actually feel like the music is more intricate and emotional than it ever was before. I noticed that when I had a good cry to Joanne and right after LoveGame came on shuffle.

I think so too, especially because these are all autobiographical songs with very deep meanings. Of course, her other songs/works all had intricate meanings, some emotional; some sentimental; some, just fun, but on Joanne, imo it takes it up a whole step further.
