I think this is a bit unnecessary.

why?

It's clearly about how the fame affected her and even that wanting to quit she kept going

It's about her PTSD too.

Only 1k dislikes. Maybe the gp will like it or at least wont notice the video when they search the song, but it has that intro.

It's close to 2k, and that's not "only" lol

Thrasher

And always speaking in terms of chart impact, when was the last time that a video influenced so much a song's chart-run? Bad Blood? 372883 celebrities featured on it. Wrecking Ball? Yes. And why? Because it was controversial.

If the video had had a field with moonlight as a setting etc. it's not like it would have impacted charts so much more than it will do now. Maybe the only thing that could have made headlines is a Taylor's appeareance, but that's it.

The problem isnt the message. Its just the video that its bad. I think who ever choose the director is the one to blame.

I think you're not getting why I tried to say.

It's too much for a person, her life might be seen as great but she's suffering, she's confused and people need to understand that,

Us chartsters we're right from the start: the GP will eat a good relatable ballad from Gaga in a heartbeat once they're exposed to it. Well almost all chartsters, looking at you @Luc

:derpga:

:poot: we'll see (after having seen for a long time already)

can't believe I forgot a video was going to be released today  I'll be home in an hour  no earplugs while in public transport

Yeah... A footage of Adele walking around the streets but her fans and the GP still love it ?

SLY was a smash before the video. Adele is not and has never been a visual artist. Gaga's success on the other hand has always depended on it.
