A lot of casual listeners will keep the radios going regardless of who gets played the most. Nobody listens to radios and actively seeks music they like anymore--that's why streaming and youtube are a thing. Even if it was such an obvious request drive, would it kill them to play the song at least twice a day? They don't have to play it for every tweet. What's the point of requesting if they're ignoring it anyway? I'm so pissed at Virgin Radio TO (affiliated with iHeart--who praised her a lot during the interview but never played her right after) for this with PI.
