Little Monsters are obsessing the American Charts too much...

Ya'll monsters are always obsessing about Gaga being on Billboard or the Top 40. However, you failed to realize that other countries have Gaga on top.

Just because America didn't appreciate Joanne that much, it doesn't mean she didn't do well overseas.

BTW, Perfect Illusion is still number 5 in the Philippines charts, 3 months after its release.

It's not a matter of the "GP hates her". It's a matter of in which location will the song catch to. Just you wait everybody. Joanne is about to boil, I guarantee that.

Hello Iggy. What, #TeamSlytherin. It might be the biggest market. However, since the globalization of sales, especially Youtube, Spotify and all the other streaming sites, the Philippines and all other countries matter.

Philippine population: 100 Million

Perfect Illusion still number 5.

All I'm trying to say is, what's unpopular to one location might be wingardium leviosa in another.

Cute dog #frenchy.

Well she's an American artist and it's the most important market, one she used to dominate. Of course that's the obvious standard of success for her music.

If she can't seem to make her country album sell in the US then what chance does she have elsewhere :poot:

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

I know what people are trying to say: she's an american artist. I get that. However, her music, most of american music, now transcends globally in charts due to streaming. We have to consider that the overall sales may be weak in one location but Gold or platinum in another.

My point here is, charts don't matter. Her music matter. Her music is very relevant in another place. Let's not obsess over charts. She might be no. 51 in your chart, but may be number 1 in Hogwarts.

There are a lot of Artist who are great in the business by selling Albums but their singles make it hardly to the top...

Adeles 25 - just hello reached #1, and this album sold 20+Mio. Copies!

Beyonce Lemonade - all her singles weren't that chart-topping but her album was...

The song-charts aren't relevant for the content and quality of the music, like it used to be.

Joanne peaked 14 Days at #1 worldwide which was longer than Lemonade... her album is good, it will sell enough to stay relevant

I'm not saying nothing bad about the country, don't get me wrong. But at the end of the day it's about money, and the music stars go to USA/UK/EU/JP to promote their music for a reason. Those are the biggest market.

Btw: you still haven't told me how many it has sold there ^^
