MR/Apple Commercial

People on here seem to think that Gaga recycled Apple add. I dont see it. In the MR Music video, yes she is on a white background and platform, but she is wearing a pink suit. In the Apple commercial, she is wearring a black leather jacket, black bra top and bottoms and the shoes. The only thing thats pink is the hat. The guitar is even different! In the Apple add it is black, and in the MR MV it is white.

 

CONCLUSION : The two share the same background, but are completely different in the things she is wearring. Therefore, she did not recycle Apple commercial. She shot both at different times, possibly on the same day, but she didnt recycle the scenes.

 

You all got to remember that A-YO was a promo single and MR was the 2nd single. She could have planned this. How would the end of P.I go into A-YO? MR is perfect!

The problem is not the outfit. It's just a bad executed video.

I think it's possible that the shots we saw in the mv were originally intended for an Apple ad, given the identical set and similar styling.

What they meant was that the scenes were shot on the same day. Maybe it was planned as a 2nd commercial and Gaga used it for the MR Video. Thats what they meant by recycled. I love the video tho

There are 2 possibilities:

1. There were 2 Apple Music ads filmed and she's using the one that wasn't aired for the music video

2. She shot MR video with a similar scene and ended with it so that she can use the same style to start A-YO

So Gaga cant shoot a music video on the same day as a commercial because that would be recycling? Thats wrong, its not recycling. Recycling would be using the same everything in the MR music video, which she hasnt done. She is allowed to shoot music videos whenever she wants, and if that is on the same day as a commercial for her promo single, then so be it. It aint recyling

my uncle's friend's aunt whose son works as a barista at the starbarks near the studio heard from his co-worker's brother who works as a stagehand at Apple says otherwise

My brother's friends, mum who has a sister who has friends in L.A close to Gaga's camp said that A-Yo was a promo single and Gaga never recycled any of the Apple add for the MR music video. So there  @Popo

Oh no that's not what I meant. When she shot those scenes, A-YO was the 2nd single. I dont think u read my post properly. Those scenes were obviously shot for another Apple Music commercial, she probably decided to use it after they switched to MR. What ppl are complaining about is that, the scenes look very similar. Except for the costume change, everything else is the same eg the hair, make-up, the pink hat, the white background and platform. If only they hadn't released the Apple music ad, it would've been fresh.

But I was talking about what OTHERS meant. I personally love the video.

I think the point some people are trying to make is that the concept is recycled from the Apple ad right? I mean clearly they are not reusing footage, but the concept is identical. I mean it's the same set, they are going for the same aesthetic. 

It didn't really bother me personally, it added to the realism/behind the scenes/behind the mask story for me. It was like it happened.

She was on the set of the Apple commercial and thought "hey, I can just shoot an MV right now and get it over with"
