Why I've opened up to the MR video and you should too

So about 5 hours ago, I was having a huge tantrum.

I was so disappointed in the fact that Gaga would release such a slow video with barely anything happening in it, but now that I'm level headed, I can finnaly understand why. 

If these music videos really are a whole story, if she's really going to have more than 3 videos this era, then the MR video is perfect. 

Imagine it now like being a movie. There's going to be high and lows, parts where it's slow, parts where it's fast, parts that are a huge adrenaline rush, and parts that are a complete bore. 

A movie that's full of adrenaline is fun the first time around, but it's almost impossible to enjoy the Second Time Around. 

With MR, Gaga just took into consideration how slow the song is, and used it for a slow scene. It's quite simple actually, and I'm glad she used MR for it and not a quick song like A-YO. 

It's helping fill in the gaps between part 1 and 3, and for that it does it perfectly.

I still hate it.

That said, it does feel like a smaller piece of a bigger picture. I hope further pieces make it feel part of something whole, as opposed to just her worst video.

I still think she should've made studio scenes much shorter and extended the storyline.

I actually think that the video is perfect. 

The more I watch it, the more I just appreciate it. The main reason why people don't like it is really because it uses very similar footage from the Apple commercial. If she had not done that commercial, and if we hadn't seen that footage similar to it, I, quite frankly, don't think we'd see so many complaints about the video.

It is a bad video. Of course a lot of people can enjoy it. I liked it at first, but it was lacking emotion and an actual story. Gaga can do MUCH better than that. It wasnt a personal video like she said...

It's a damn music video lol it must deliver and have substance period. You can make slow vid with no plot and still create something interesting. She's an artist I don't care about her storytelling

Sad thing is, she needs a month and a half and recycled footage to tell 4 minutes of this "whole story". We'll never get a whole story at this rate.

It's ok to like it. And it's ok to not like it too.

I don't like it, but I don't think Gaga deserves the "fans" who are calling her a failure and start spreading their basic opinions about how much they hate the video. As if they could do better.

but a slow song doesn't mean that the video needs to be boring as hell.  Hello had a great video.
