It was Hillary's race to lose from the beginning. It was just one major scandal after another, so unclean. Opposite of what you want in a candidate. 

Comey would have never been able to throw a win to trump if Bidden ran, or even sanders for that matter who I'm certainly not a fan of. 

Bidden would have been blamed for every wrong thing that happened in the last eight years, plus he has a long history to pull from. (Maybe the fact that he recently lost his son would have worked on people though) Sanders? Lol The Republicans and Trump would have drug him to hell and back for being a socialist. All you would have heard from Trump was that "Bernie wants to make the US like Venezuela". Plus, Biden and Sanders were both too open to immigration. I feel that you are severely underestimating the impact that had on this election.

Weren't they (the GOP) working to do away with filibusters?  I remember scrolling past an article about that but I didn't actually read it...so I don't know

At any rate, don't freak out, guys. The U.S. has a liberal majority these days and the LGBT community, while we still face plenty of issues, is a generally accepted one. If (and that's a big "if") they managed to pass anti-LGBT laws, there'd be total outrage. Really, I think most human rights are safe. Abortion is definitely in their crosshairs but most other things are a bit of a stretch. Our biggest concern under Trump will be the economy and the environment as well as any global conflicts he starts

We'll survive though. We always do.

To be fair, all the scandals (witch hunts) are what cost Hillary the electoral college win.

Of course, that's due to dirty tactics like hacking and reopening her investigation for a completely idiotic reason. She has so much baggage attached to her and I'll agree that nearly all of it is stupid and I completely disagree with anyone that says she's corrupt. I think she would've been a phenomenal president but enough of the American electorate had such an issue seeing through the b.s. that Trump won the broken college.

Bernie would've most likely been able to beat Trump for the simple fact that his reputation provided a lot less ammo and I'm pretty sure everyone loves Biden and he too would've given Trump a b.s. deficiency

I hope so. I had a lady in Walmart yesterday criticize my daughter for wearing mens jeans. Apparently I'm a horrible mother for letting her wear men's jeans and I hope I realize the damage I'm doing to her psychologically 🙄. I don't think I've ever been so pissed in my life. It's ****ing fabric!!!!! Why does it have to have a gender ?!?
