Trump has always been a supporter of the LGBT community and promises to protect them. He has been for Gay Rights longer than Hillary has, and I still don't believe she is for them knowing her. Dont listen to these senators who aren't President

In Congress, Republicans LOST power. The Senate numbers are all that matter. It doesn't matter if you have a 99% majority in the House or a 51% majority, everything is blocked/passed through The Speaker and a few select committees.

The Senate is very, very different, and I'm not about to sit here and waste my time giving you a civics lesson. That being said, Republicans are now even further from reaching a cloture vote, which is very important. That means they currently cannot and will not be able to override a Democratic filibuster, which is going to happen if an anti-gay law is brought up. 

Republicans would need to sway 8 Democratic senators to end their own party's filibuster in 2017. Throughout this WHOLE entire past year, they haven't been able to shut down a Dem filibuster and they only needed 6. How tf in your mind does that mean it will be easier for Republicans in the Senate?!?

Yes it would be a radical idea for a Democratic Senator to be opposed to same sex marriage. Not a single Democratic Senator is opposed to same sex marriage....... And anyways, that's beside the point  Do you not understand the separation of powers? Same sex marriage has NOTHING to do with the Legislative or Judicial branches  *cringe*

On the subject of the Judicial branch, you keep referring to the fact that republicans now have a "majority". False. Over the past 8 years Obama has been appointing liberal federal judges, and the Supreme Court is still a 50/50 split (not that it matters, same sex marriage was made legal nationwide WITHOUT a liberal majority ). Plus if Trump only gets one term he will likely only get the 1 appointment, which was a conservative spot anyway. Regardless, will still don't even know who Trump is considering to nominate...

He said he would protect them from the "scary Muslims", not from the close-minded, backwards GOP. 

The Justices he appoints are going to be ultra conservatives and they will not uphold the rights for the LGBT community.

How about Trump marking "C" for "colored" on residential contracts to signify a greater credit risk? 

Also, you seems to lack a solid grasp on the separation of powers as well. Trump wouldn't be introducing the supposed bills (which are bogus in the first place, such a movement doesn't against). Trump would almost necessarily be forced into signing a hypothetical anti-gay bill if his party were to pass one (they wouldn't be able to) if he wants to be reelected.

Also since Republicans do not have a cloture majority, there is no way an ultra-conservative justice would be confirmed in this Senate. We will get a conservative moderate. 

And then we will take back the WH in 2020 and appoint a super liberal gay that will live forever
