Honestly they should take it away from her. Aside from the points you mentioned, i'd rather have gaga not do the Super Bowl and always wonder how amazing it would have been than have her do it and be disappointed forever

she's performing because there's literally no other artist than can handle the super bowl. I think the NFL obviously thought that after a long break and so much anticipation, PI (or some song) would stand out, and make her known again. 

They were wrong. She'll be like a surprise performer. 

That's gaga's version though. After so much lies, i wouldn't be surprised if she invented this thing too.
