MJHolland 12,725 Posted December 14, 2016 Share Posted December 14, 2016 I noticed a lot of people are hating on the music video for Million Reasons because of it's simplicity and utter lack of directing competence, even though I think it is a GOOD simple video for a good simple song. For those of you who don't particularly enjoy the video, at least you can appreciate this music video now that it's not Gaga's most uncreative/basic music video anymore!! It feels like just one scene (a flawless one) from a whole MV, which contains different scenes and sets. Like, idk, the pool & castle in G.U.Y. But the video is not bad imo. It definitely got better over time, for me- especially with the added layer of sentiment for Clarence. Now looking back at the MR video though. I honestly never felt so disappointed. She had reasons for all other stuff that happened during AP etc but this is just laziness. If this is what you want to put out then why hold it back months like there's anything to shoot for the video at all, its just bts stuff stitched into one vid.
