No, please, being a ballad is no excuse for mediocrity. It feels lazy. It's personal, yup, but it's lazy.
Even her Joanne series of mini films are shot better than this.

Yes it was....get over it it's a ballad although I knew it would be like this so I'm fine tbh. I did however expect something similar to the AMA's stage but yeah MR video is a cute girl but  the holy trinity( DH,DIC,JW)  better have slay visuals or I'll cry. But yeah the video is fine that's it it's safe so yeah MR is destined to become a hit

Ballads can have good videos too. There are thousand examples. This is just a bad video

I honestly do not feel like we waited so long, so Yes. It is worth the wait. I honestly do not understand what most of you were expecting, the dots can clearly be drawn to us receiving a video in this state. The only surprise is that it is connected to Perfect Illusion and there was no sign of Taylor making an appearance, other than that, Gaga has done almost everything during this album in this signature look and presentation, so it's just a follow through format. I think that it's nice enough and suits the song and feelings that she expresses. Gaga is Lovely.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Ok but dont re-use footage. And the acting looked really forced and cheesy. Her emotion didnt come across as authentic

Sure i dont like simple videos. But I could have accepted it better if it was at least well done. I cant believe this took 1 month to release :rip:

the first 3 seconds were the only reused parts, we never saw the other footage in the PI video :rip: she probably filmed the desert parts for a transition to some kind of sequel and the rest was filmed in Japan and from that documentary guy who was following her around (because she has the outfit on from the Japan conference is what she wore for the guitar part - same makeup etc)

It's not that bad, general public will take it. But for me, it doesn't really show the emotion of the song. I wish she would have released a full length Making Joanne video for it instead.

a True Fan™. I wish I could be like you :awkney:

That's not a true fan. That's pure stupidity :awkney: The worst thing is that Gaga is surrounded by people like him who probably told her this trash was good. But I can't understand how she thought it was good too.

I don't recall her best videos like Bad Romance, Telephone, Judas, and G.U.Y. took this long to come out.  I get that single changed but it wouldn't take a long time to come up with a great video.  Like shoot at night in a forest or something.

You so called Monsters need to cut the crap and get the hell over The Fame Monster and all this dance pop over produced, big production music videos already, it's so 2010, we're in 2016, Lady Gaga is not a 23 year old trying to make her mark in music again, she is 30, she has matured, too bad some of you haven't, and can't realize reinvention is key to a long lasting career, what Gaga is doing right now will further cement her status as a legend and a true artist who reinvented herself with every album. Joanne IS NOT The Fame Monster or Born This Way. DEAL WITH IT. Thank you, and have a lovely day.

Omg you don't need overproduction for a good video. Simple is good when it's done right. That was not done right. The cinematography was actually bad. It seems like she just rushed it to appease people. Or she just doesn't care at all.

She shouldve released the whole thing LEMONADE style, Cuz Lemonade has many basic scenes too. But since its a movie no one noticed. The next video will be fun, since its going to be eithet JW, A-YO or DH. The MR video fits perfectly for a JOANNE: Visual Album

I honestly don't know if I want to keep going tbh. Her career was so amazing between 2010-2015 that I feel like this era is ruining her legacy. :(

Ok I'm having a meltdown but I think it's justified  Please Joanne, retire already. Gaga come back

And I'm sorry but you are kinda the ones to blame. You were bitchin' about switching A-Yo for MR (or Millions Grammy as some of you named it lol) ... now you are disappointed because the video it's "boring" ...what did you expect? the song it's boring...I like it but it's not her best ballad.

For me the video it's fine as it is
