Gagalvaro 2,498
Judas is one of her biggest hits, the only problem is the management with the eras since ARTPOP www.twitter.com/AFerreroEscriva
Popo 3,781
no, #katyendedgaga honestly though, by that time her shock factor is the new norm. she would've done so much better by keeping us interested if she toned everything down like what she's doing in this era. The whole Judas video around easter fiasco came off as just another attention seeking moment.
Fame IV 4,426
I don' think so baby. Since Judas she had 3 #1 albums, won a Grammy and Golden Globe while being nominated for an Oscar. Gosh she was chosen to play he freaking Superbowl. If that's the curse of a tragic career to you I'm fine A Star is Born ⭐

Alejandro started ha decline, and then Judas sealed her fate. She became an attention seeking satanic wh*re in the eyes of the GP. But it seems she is trying to repent with Million Reasons, she "bows down to pray". Maybe we can have hope for her career again. Lol. What a stupid argument. Most of the GP see Gaga as a misterious iconic superstar A Star is Born ⭐

venusfly 17,885
Marry the nights flop is not her fault and couldn't be avoided, it always happens at the end of an album cycle, the final single mostly always performs the least well, the BTW cycle lasted longer than you guys give it credit for. ARTPOP as someone else said was made while she was high/drunk af and it shows, the music is all over the place, its crazy, but its fun. Ultimately it's not the type of album that will sell massive amounts of copies and this was exacerbated by Troy being fired. This is as well as her boasting it to be a masterpiece and accompanying it with high art and fashion and then it turning out to be an album of club songs which the critics ridiculed it for. PI again, is not GP friendly and missed the mark, it opened to a lukewarm reception and most people agreed it wasn't what they expected (this doesn't mean it's a bad song!). Joanne at 300k copies in the US is doing amazing for the amount of "damage" the BTW era and ARTPOP did to her career, it's amazing. And you'd think people would understand she's not aiming for commercial success after she's released 3 GP unfriendly albums in a row EDIT: I forgot one important thing, saturation. Gaga once benefited from being the only person in her field to make that type of music, but in a market that quickly adapted to mimicking her there was many more options for people to buy from. Its very european and was a "huge" hit in Finland and other parts of Europe. At the time it was played in every nightclub. Good times. Came here to say this. It was actually the only single from BTW that was played in the clubs in Europe, even with lyrics like that.

JupiterDrive 2,788
Well Rihanna used to make hits and still does Same with Katy Same with Taylor and Adele and some other girls don't come with an excuse saying the new gp doesn't dig her because she's from a different generation also her winning this Grammy golden globe thing like no one will care about that unless she's in talks all the time There's something very off putting about her since ARTPOP was crashing she's way too try hard now than she used to be everything freaky she did was looking fun and effortlessly now it's just painful and Idk Also can we just stop this music not the bling thing like how can she not care about her reputation as a star
Lord Ryry 3,367
lol she just needs a basic smash song, no one cares if it's lady gaga singing it. Everyone I know bops to closer but has never heard of chainsmokers or Halsey. Perfect illusion is amazing, if she added another verse / got rid of *some* repetitiveness it would easily be a smash. She never made another #1 and people started to dislike her for no reason. The main disasters after the Judas release were: - The original The Edge of Glory video was forever lost - You and I video flopped - Marry The Night song and video flopped - Madonna's comeback flopped - Venus single was cancelled - Do What U Want video was never released - G.U.Y flopped hard - Perfect Illusion flopped hard - A-YO single was cancelled - Million Reasons video is being delayed - John Wayne could be a single Do you guys think Gaga should finally record a song called Jesus Christ, so the Judas curse can vanish away? She had less success from Judas but I think it's just because people turned their back on her and the hype got tired. I remember around Born This Way, all the hipster gays around me being like "Gaga is over". She def was LESS popular after Born This Way.
