Quark 7,098
o<(0_0)>o I think that Gaga set the precedent for modern pop. I say this because she was the first true digital megastar. Many of the things that pop stars do today can clearly be traced back to Gaga. For example, she set the trend for naming fan bases, she created the blueprint for social media interaction between the artist and the fan base, she set the standard for modern music video production, she changed the way red carpets treated and in general created a deeper connection between music and fashion. Gaga was clearly ahead of her time during her peak years.

Morphine Prince 105,627
Idk if she "set the precedent" for these things but I did notice they increased a lot during her peak. Let's not lie to ourselves. Most of the other Pop females began dressing "outrageously" after Gaga. Then it slowly faded away. Rihanna was one of the few who already dressed somewhat "out there" before Gaga.
Freud 5,663
She had in the past and she's still doing with Joanne... I mean, look at the charts... all songs are extreme repetitive Tropical Club sounds, poorly written, produced by 10 writers but all sound-alike to be sold for GP Joanne will be the trend-setter for 2017, mark my words. Gaga just put it on the next level. Each Television performance each appearance was something else. But After Katy, Miley and Anyone else took it way to far, it is competely understanable why she now strips back to more normal
