Why have Britney and Will.i.am never performed together?

By the way I just looked Britney Jean's producing credit and didn't Will.I.Am work on Alien aswell? Orbit produced and Will.I.Am made some changes but they aren't credit... (I say that because the album version is ruined and the first leak was way better)

I hope not  William ruined britney's eighth album aka Britney Jean. He, as the main producer, totally ruined what could have been a good album. 

SS is a bop, i won't deny it, and it smashed, but he thought he could replicate its success...and well, we all know what happened.
