She's fighting for what she believes it's right, which we can agree on or don't. That's what freedom of thought and speech is but apparently this concept is hard to understand and by not agreeing with her the easiest thing to do is to throw mean comments about who she sleeps with, how she dresses at her age and whatnot. So they use the excuse: "that's the example we want our children to see?". I mean because when Rihanna and Beyoncé do it then it's okay, but if Madonna does it then we have to demonize her. Let's begin with everyone having our own minds and acting according to it, which is what she's promoting. Ugh, people need everything explained these days. When she names the different artists, she ends by saying 'I am one of the lucky ones'. She is talking about all the bad things that come with fame, and that a lot of artists die because of that - like Whitney, MJ and Amy. Gaga herself has said similar things in the past and how she has difficulty dealing with fame. There's nothing there to do with feeling superior, but that's the way you want you to sound because you simply hate her for no reason as you have proved on every Madonna thread on this forum. The thing about feminism is happening all around the world and it can't be dealt with instantly. But the world already knows Madonna is still in the game and a legend. Therefore why mention the death of other legends to prove something we already know? It's unnecessary. And I'm not here to dislike the rest of her speech, because I respect it. I just have a different opinion on what she had to say on the second video. Crossfit

Ew at your comment. I don't even hate her, I dislike some of her fans, like yourself who jump at anyone who doesn't worship her. lol I listened to Madonna while you were still in diapers or not even conceived. Bye now. It's not insensitive, because I think she was referring to the idea of music icons, since she is also an icon. She basically said that among the legends she still remains alive. I don't see any problem with that. When Kanye West said he was the new Picasso nobody was bitching about it.
