OT: Nah, it's just a part of their strategy to hide PI's fail and bad reception. I'm sure that if PI had been a success, the promo schedule would have been completely different (and we know that she cancelled Graham Norton and X Factor back in mid-October). They couldn't afford to compromise an entire era after two years of hard work, and now everything seems alright to me.

Of course Perfect Illusion was the 1st single! It is still on the album! If it was her American Oxygen, BBHMM, FourFive Seconds, or Focus, then it would be off the album. Mess at some Little Monsters thinking they can rewrite the canon whenever a single doesn't perform as well as they would've liked it to. Plus, so far it has charted much higher than MR.

Thanks I'm not saying MR isn't doing better in terms of the GP knowing it, but Gaga would be disappointed if she heard people deciding for themselves that Perfect Illusion wasn't the lead single because of the charts. It's ridiculous and obviously and factually not true. XD

You lil bottoms forgot that PI announcement on lg.com. It says NEW SINGLE PERFECT ILLUSION. And Perfect illusion is ON joanne. Sooo

it's the first new single from joanne album,

so it IS the lead single.

let it be the way it's supposed to be  as she chose! PI was such a dissapointment for many, but to me it's still a great transitional single and a good come back single.

No. They should've given Perfect Illusion more time, it's actually a great song and I've been listening to it so much since we got the album. They just failed to promote it on TV and focused more on radio interviews and Dive Bar Tour. They pulled the plug way too early but it's their fault for thinking it'd do well just because it's Gaga.

This is what we all should do: deem every single a "buzz single" until she releases something that goes at least top 10. So as of now, we have two buzz singles. They're just an amuse-bouche

After seeing final performance of PI on Dive bar in LA, i really made me regret the missed potential of song, IT would be more sucessfull and the fans would  get more excited about it with more performances.  Although i do think the song editing was bad and felt owerwhelmed in the short duration the song has, when performed live with diefrent arrangment it would sound epic and i am sure, i will be among highlight on upcoming tour. 

You had lead single that people waited for ages, and than you decided to make zero televised performance and spend all time talking **** on million identical radio shows instead- baffeled

And when it comes to  MR -if it wasnt performed as much you would be bored with it too. You know i am right.
