12 weeks would be better. I understand the fact that there are no exceptions for rape and abuse victims; anyone in that position would be monitoring and know well before 6 weeks.

For the cases of rape or incest, we should encourage women to come forward if they're pregnant and support them as much as possible till they are able to have an abortion, or have an extension to the ruling.

I just genuinely find this ban reasonable. If anyone disagrees please tell me why. I need another strong perspective on this besides "their baby their choice" as that doesn't seem like a valid argument to me.

I agree with you. And its pretty ironic that the people that are pro abortion are already born.  The only time I see it as okay is if the woman was raped or has a serious health risk.  Pro Choice is Pro Abortion.

You are talking about an almost fully developed fetus when the law bans abortions at 6 weeks. You seriously need to learn about it. Do you want me to teach you about fetus development? Okay.

For size comparison

Look at 6 weeks. That's what they want to ban. If you believe that 6 week abortion is murder, then you believe any abortion is murder and are anti-abortion.

Instead of taking offense because you decided to voice an opinion on something you didn't have knowledge of, you should take time to learn about things in the future before commenting on them.

I agree. There's nothing wrong with not being educated on a topic. Hey, that's what life is for. For learning.

 Pretty against abortion unless it's rape, incest, or some dangerous situation for the baby or mother. I mean I'm pro-choice though because I can't imagine getting pregnant and being forced to have a kid, but also you should make the choice to practice safe sex, not to end a life.

Exactly. I got pregnant from rape at 14 and I absolutely agonized over my decision to abort. I looked into every option that was available to me. I even looked into homes for teenage moms where they provide food and shelter for teen girls who are pregnant and gotten kicked out. I was raised Catholic so abortion is wrong had been drilled into my head for years. The bond between mama and baby starts from the moment the fertilized egg implants in the mama's uterus. That was my baby. I loved that baby. After it was over, the doctor gently patted my knee and said "you'll be ok sweetheart. Now you can pretend like none of this ever happened". Pardon my French but **** you. You just suctioned a living being out of my body and you just treat it like I had the ****ing flu?!? It felt like somebody had ripped my heart out. The guilt almost drive me to suicide multiple times. My grandma eventually found out and I'll never forget the look on her face. It was just pure disappointment.
