Jed Mayo 377
1 hour ago, kevinthesheep said: I am well and truly shook here's why: When perfect illusion first came out, I thought it was satan, like one of the worst songs i'd ever heard. The day it came out i actually cried because i thought the album was going to sound just as horrible as i thought PI was. I hated the stupid lyrics, her accent, the instruments were too loud, the song didn't go anywhere. I still gave it a chance, I listened to it on repeat in hope that it would grow on me, but it didn't. Then million reasons & the album were released and i fell in love with all the other songs and completely forgot about PI. I deleted it off the album because i was so repulsed. But here's the part that has me shook. PI (the single) came on shuffle today and I literally can't stop listening to it. It has gone from literal satan to possibly my top 5 on the album?!?! How does this happen (just thought i'd share) This happened to me with half of the songs on ARTPOP. Fashion! is a bop
Squeeshy Keety 9,908
I really liked it when it came out, but I remained skeptical until the album release. At that point, it dropped to the bottom for me (not out of hate, just the high quality of Joanne ) When she sang it in Japan, though, the hidden sadness of the song made me love it in a way I never had before, and now it's top 7 at least. Maybe I'm damaged for only being able to relate to the themes of sadness and devastation in music They / Them 🏳️🌈
