nevertheless i gotta say i do feel more safe seeing people's faces. it is always a bit scary when there is someone covered in a full body burka and you dont even know if that person is truly a woman or maybe a man or 4-5 babies that stand on each others' shoulders

Specially as a part of the LGBT community, i thought it meant to be more tolerant, to accept things that you don't really agree. What did they do to you to be scared ? Did they force you to wear it ?

forcing Muslim women to remove burkas is no better than forcing them to wear them. 

germany is not Saudi Arabia. Get that into your heads. The Islamic religion is very different in western nations than in counties like Saudi Arabia, its evolving and while there may be some that are still forced to wear it, it is in no way the majority. This law is hiding under a guise for protecting women, which is not needed, to instead control women and police what they wear. 

If you are honestly scared of women in burkas, you honestly need to get out of your islamophobic bubble and talk to these women. I do every day. They are people. They have a family, a favourite meal, colour, music - they are exactly like yourselves. You are not better than them.

You do not get to determine whether or not a particular woman is oppressed because she is wearing a burka. Only the women themselves know that. And you cannot make a law based on assumptions because 99% of the time they are not effective but rather a waste of everyone's time

And besides the women wearing burqas, everytime I see one, I just greet them normally.. What do I get?  One hell of a look, as if I have told them to fck off.  

Sorry but, this happened E-VE-RY TIME. And it feels like they are being FORCED. 

That's my experience, they can ban it. I honestly don't want to live with people who are in the society being anonymous behind a veil and not even social at all.
